For the first month, the DeLonghi America portable evaporative cooler seemed to work great in our space. We did our homework and found the evaporative cooler suitable for our area and were glad to have a good cooling fan. However, in the 2nd month we noticed that the fan became weaker and less cool. From the 3rd month, the evaporative cooler began to drip onto the floor from time to time. We thought maybe we overfilled the tank or didn't clean the filters. But after using it again and doing more troubleshooting research of our own using the manual and online help, we began to realize that the DeLonghi evaporative cooler was a frankly cheap, poorly made product that now leaks constantly and too property damage can result. So we contacted DeLonghi customer service because we have a one year warranty on the product. We tried calling their hotline for several days in a row but got no response and were unable to report the issue. So we emailed asking for troubleshooting help or a return and refund. It took them 1-2 weeks to contact us. Now they say we can't return the evaporative cooler because we need to schedule a tech support call before we can return it. Revain does not allow us to return it because it has been more than two months since the purchase. Together with DeLonghi we are taking the next steps on this topic. But spilling a defective product, late customer service and not meeting the 1 year warranty policy make this product a liability for us and let me know this product is another lovely product sold at Revain with a false warranty of value and support that turn out to be useless.
