We installed a new tub surround and replaced the sliding glass doors with a shower curtain. I needed something to replace the towel rails that hung over the shower doors. I decided to try these. They are made of transparent heavy plastic and stick very well to the smooth surface of the edge. On a whim, I tried gluing one to the beaded wall. He's also stuck there, holding a towel. Also included were a few wipes for cleaning surfaces before use if needed. They should hold towels and kitchen utensils well on any smooth surface. I probably wouldn't use them for pots or pans. The only "weak point" will be the bend of the hook. As long as you're not careless, everything should be fine. I am happy with these suction cups and would buy them again.
