I'll admit I'm an adult, a small size 4/6, and most Columbia shirts are too long and skinny for my "mature" build and short waist. It's a shame because it's very hard to find long sleeves and SPF for hiking if you're my build. I think all outdoor clothing companies assume that everyone is young, tall and lean. So I stumbled upon this REI secret - their signature kidswear suits me - so I decided to try on the Columbia shirt - and voila, it suits me. I wish there were more colors (and not all pastels). So, for petite mature women who can still wear a size 4 or 6, here's an option! The shirt is lightweight, has SPF, the arms are long enough for an adult, and I personally find buttons MUCH EASIER than buttons. And yes, it has clasps. Breathable enough - I walked in 85 degrees and felt fine. Of course you can roll up the sleeves (it has tabs to keep them in place) but I need sun protection so I wear long sleeves.
