I have made several of these valves from different suppliers. This garbage. Before installing this valve, the air conditioner was cold, but it took 10-15 minutes to drive at high speeds. Once the valve is installed, after only a few ounces of freon, the suction (low) side goes to a relatively high pressure (80+) psi and stops sucking. My guess is that this valve isn't working and the compressor isn't drawing freon into the low pressure port. I'll reinstall the old valve until I find a replacement that isn't junk. Update: I reinstalled the *old* valve, emptied it and refilled it with R134. The system sucked in freon with no problem, and I'm back in the cold air. The valve purchased here is definitely defective and I will be returning it.
