For about ten years we grew up in a family of five cats, all from different sources, and didn't socialize like kittens. One or two of our cats had serious problems adjusting to each other and got along. Sometimes just casual light fights, sometimes they seriously pursue each other for a long time. We tried to calm the situation down, scold, encourage, play games and use other methods of behavior, but to no avail. Then we started experiencing other things like inappropriate urination, attacks on our clothes or floor mats, etc. So we tried Feliway two or three years ago. We were skeptical at first. But now, a few years later, we fully believe in it. My only criticism of Feliway is the cost - we believe it can and should be much cheaper so more people (and cats) can benefit from it. (Manufacturer's note: sales will likely increase, too.?) If you don't need it, spend the money on treats or toys for your kittens. But we really like this product and recommend trying it out if you have Katzenspätzle in YOUR household.
