Great straight out of the box.

Not entirely sure if this is an official Nintendo product or not, but it connected right away and hasn't had any issues since we started using it. The sound from the controller isn't the best, but I'm not sure if my 10 year old sounds any different (maybe I don't know what they sounded like originally). Anyway, we are very happy with the new Wii Mote and will be buying another one soon!
