Review on πŸŽ’ SLICE RED Backpack: Ultra-Lightweight and Conveniently Foldable for Easy Carrying by Michael Wilson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great lightweight foldable backpack

Bought for short hikes when we need a little more than the Camelback can give. 1 external vertical zip pocket - 2 external web pockets - 1 internal zip pocket (used as storage bag) - adjustable shoulder straps Cons: - none What you get in the package: - 1 SLICE RED foldable backpack Backpacks I've come across. It comes folded in a storage bag and measures approximately 6 3/4" x 6 3/4". When fully open, the backpack measures approximately 19 x 12 1/2 x 6 1/4 inches. The backpack weighs about 9 ounces. It has 1 outside zip pocket and 2 mesh pockets. It has an inner zipped pocket that turns inside out as a storage bag, a large main storage area and a divider near the back that offers space for a laptop, iPad, etc. Easy to stow in the camelback should you need extra storage or need a little more room if the camelback isn't big enough for your trip. The ripstop material is thick and durable. The zip has a water repellent fabric sewn over most of the zip to be tested during a few 2-3 hour hikes. What I particularly like about this product is the low weight. The durable material easily withstands scratches from branches and undergrowth. The straps are relatively thin so it's comfortable with a light load. We also tested the waterproofness of the backpack and found it to be relative. Works well in rain and spray. No items stored in the bag have absorbed water or moisture. When testing the backpack's foldability, I was able to fold it up in less than a minute and take it out in about 5-10 seconds. There's no real trick for this. Just fold it up and put it in your pocket. If you put it in a small pouch, it will look crumpled naturally. But over time it smooths out. I haven't managed to make it look like the pictures in the description yet. What I didn't like about the backpack is that when it's loaded, there aren't enough straps. They are too thin and don't have enough padding to handle the heavy load. The manufacturer will provide free replacements within 90 days. All in all, you get such a lightweight and durable package when you don't need it. It's easy to store. I had absolutely no problems with any of the backpack's functions. It worked as intended and passed all of our testing protocols. I love this backpack. It's simple and no frills. For less than $20 at the time of writing this review, I would have no problem buying this device again. This product is made in China.
