Review on CF11183 Fresh Breeze Filter Hammer by Joe Drew

Perfect match for my 2013 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Definitely better quality than the filter it replaced - I doubt it was ever replaced given the amount of dirt that had settled on it when I took it out of the hole behind the glove box. While a new filter was absolutely necessary, I guess I was hoping for a small miracle that would immediately eliminate the weird odor I've been smelling in my Jeep since I bought it used 2 months ago. Unfortunately the smell is still there, albeit to a lesser degree if I'm sure. As far as I can tell, the new filter itself doesn't emit any inherent odor, even though my packaging said it was a scented variety. All in all though I think it filters out dust particles, leaves etc better than the original filter so in the end it was a worthwhile and necessary purchase. Now I just need to find another remedy to get rid of that lingering smell.
