At first I had the impression that the item was a small fan, it is not. This is a fairly large fan with a lot of power. Packing: Congratulations to the seller, the goods will not be repackaged. I got mine wrapped in a bubble bag and placed in a grocery box. The dimensions of the box are 8 x 6.5 x 4.5 inches. I received the fan, charging cable and user manual in the box. Unpacking: The bubble bag that the fan was placed in is not sealed with tape, just properly filled. Be careful when taking the fan out of the box as the outer grille is not attached to the fan. The grille is protected by a red silicone strap that must be replaced before attaching it to the fan. The fan itself is also protected by two pieces of black foam that can be easily removed. Charging: The charging cable is a standard micro USB cable that plugs into any regular USB port on a computer or external battery. I connected the fan to my existing power supply and the charging light on the back of the fan was red, which means it's charging according to the manual. When charging is complete, the indicator will turn green. Battery: Charging the battery takes some time. Mine came charged so I don't yet know how long it takes to charge it from zero to a hundred. I'll update that part of my comment when I find out. The battery lasts really long. I can't confirm the 35 hour run time as stated in the listing but it will run at speed two all night and keep running after that. Operation: The grate, which is supplied separately from the fan, must first be assembled. After removing the red protective strip. The grille connects to the fan by aligning the tiny ribs on the grille with the small grooves on the fan and rotating the grille clockwise. To remove the grille, it is released with a simple anti-clockwise twist. Do not turn on a fan without a grill, the fan blades are quite fast and powerful and can easily injure a person or damage anything they come in contact with. The fan works when connected to a power source, which is really important for dining. There are two buttons on the back of the fan. The one on the left is for light with two different brightness levels. Click once, it turns on, another click turns it into dark mode, and a third click turns it off, which is really handy. The right button controls the fan speed, which has four speed levels. The current fan level is indicated by a small red LED on the back of the fan. The blade rotates clockwise, if that matters to you. Performance: The first two fan speeds are very quiet. Stages 3 and 4 start making noise. When the fan rotates to blow vertically and standard letter-size paper is placed on it: 1-The first speed blows paper for a normal letter-size printer, but cannot blow two sheets.2- The second speed blows two Sheets for a letter size printer but cannot dump three of them 3-Third speed can dump four letter printer papers but cannot dump five 4-Fourth speed can dump six letter printer papers but cannot dump seven of them drain. This is a fairly powerful and efficient fan for its size. Quality: The workmanship and feel of the item is very good. The material feels strong and doesn't smell like cheap plastic. The fan blade is white and slightly transparent; It glows beautifully in the dark when the fan light is on. Base: The clip is located at the base of the fan. The base is heavy enough to hold the fan in place even on sloping surfaces. There are non-slip rubber strips on the bottom, which are also very useful. The base also has a built-in hook to hang it anywhere. . The fan can rotate 360 degrees horizontally on the base, and can also rotate 360 degrees vertically. It can be easily positioned in any direction. All controls, electric motor and battery are located on the fan itself, the base is simply attached to it with a clip. The base can be easily removed from the fan by removing the plastic covers on either side and unscrewing two simple screws. This is important if you want to turn this fan into a controlled swamp air conditioner. I usually buy a 10 pound ice pack at the local supermarket, put it in a bucket and attach a fan to the rim of the bucket to blow over the ice. That's enough to keep a 10 person tent cool all night in the summer. You will find this fan very useful when you go hiking, boating or need to sleep in a room without air conditioning. Overall this is a good fan for travel and emergencies, looks like a quality product and comes highly recommended.
