Review on Captivating Texsens Flame Effect Light Bulbs: Illuminate with Mesmerizing Flames by Sally Wiesner

Papa gave me this old lantern that belonged to his father, of unknown origin. The marking reads "The Adams & WestLake Company - Chicago - "THE ADAMS"" and "SP Co" is raised on the glass. (Dunno, maybe made for the South Pacific?). He has already retrofitted it with a light bulb socket, which I changed, among other things, because of old fabric insulation on the cable. Anyway, I ordered and tried several different brands of flame effect bulbs, this one looked the most realistic and was the clear winner. The flame effect is probably more aggressive than this lantern's original ignition, but who knows? . . . The effect is really cool and although it's a bit pricey for a lightbulb, this is the best of the collection I've tried.
