So I decided to write a little review because some negative reviews made me hesitate to buy. My honest answer after 2 weeks of use. Do not be shy. I list the pros and cons and you decide. Advantages: 1. One coffee machine instead of two. See number 42. Use K cups or a separate filter for your own. (Very easy to use and clean)3. Try running the brew cycle for a shot with no water in the tank, that will let you know. (oops) 4. Yes, this is more than your average coffee pot. Guess what scientists Negative Rocket is, it replaces 2 pots.5. Easy-to-use controls.6. Pretty cheap con's1. I hate turning off the stove for 2 hours. Personal matters, add 1/2 cup of water and start again. It's gone before it turns off again.2. No further comments: the top fill requires you to pull it out once you've filled the bottom cabinets (that's a big hassle for some, I just slide it forward, fill it, and slide it back). It's not as fast as a K-car. Oh, for heaven's sake, it's not a K car! Ditch your old K machine and buy an extra coffee maker if you can't wait around 2-3 minutes for a coffee. I have to fill up a cup every time. For some, it's more of a trauma. I personally prefer fresh water to water that has been in the car or tank until use. If you really want you can fill it up with 8-10 oz and leave, the machine knows the difference between a pot and a single. coffee taste. It tastes like coffee, everything is subjective, if yours is too weak go for a stronger strain, again not Rocket Science. I don't feel any difference between Regular and Strong, again subjective. Hey, for the price you can't beat it. Cheaper than the K-machine, and if speed and size don't suit you, go for the $199 Silver Cuisie. That's it, except for the durability test. ****UPDATE**** 8 months later I had to buy another coffee pot. out of the blue he decides to blow off the caps of the capsules and pour me some coffee grounds. Which sleeve doesn't matter. I tried everything, cleaned, turned the gasket over. The same thing! So the rating has gone down and will not happen again until this issue is fixed by the company.
