Cordless, good compression in hot weather. Not very massage.

Heated hand massager...πŸ“š I've been looking for the perfect hand massager for a long time. Will it finally be? Spring. πŸ“š I have a handheld massager that I love almost everything about but it doesn't touch the wrists. Literally. And sometimes that's where I feel the most pain. This was the main reason I ordered this handheld massager. The description states that it "effectively affects the acupuncture points of the wrist, palm and fingers". πŸ“š The product was packaged very well and the instructions are easy to understand. Charges fairly quickly and seems to hold a charge for quite a while. I love that it's wireless!πŸ“š There are scratches on the top of the device which you can see in a photo. It doesn't bother me and doesn't affect the function of the device, but if it was a gift I'd be disappointed. There are also 2 bumps where the stitching meets (not quite) on the back of the product. These rough spots are easy to scratch. πŸ“š After all that, how did this product fare in massage? Well… mixed reviews actually. It's really. It does a great job of squeezing, but not really a body massage. There are different levels of compression/intensity and warmth. Finding the level that is most convenient and effective for you is easy. Here, too, according to the product description, it says that it "simulates kneading and shiatsu". But it's really just compression. There are no real variations in massage technique. It works great on my wrists! Not a massage per se, just some pressure and heat seems to be enough to help my wrist. Summary...this is a good enough handheld massager if you don't need a lot of variety and a simple warm squeeze will do the trick. Each has its own intensity and heat! Wireless is a big plus. And this massager is long enough to hold wrist and wrist massage. At the end of the day, I feel like my old handheld massager massages my hands and fingers better. This one works better on my wrists. I'll probably use a combination of both until I find the perfect handheld massager.
