Review on Blush Urban Shop Acrylic Rolling Desk Chair by Elizabeth Lewis

I really like this chair. That's more than I expected. I love colors! The only problem I had was unpacking/assembling. When unpacking the components of the chair, a collar/cover for the base/legs of the chair was found. Well I accidentally put it aside and finished the rest of the chair. After assembling everything, I checked that the elevator worked and it worked. Then I turned and saw the collar. I have no idea how to detach the bar from the legs to put the collar on. I tried calling the number provided to help with assembly. I spoke to the secretary who took the message. She said she would forward it to someone who could help and that they would call me back. I haven't heard anything since then. I googled it and they said just unplug them. I've tried, I can't figure them out myself, if that's even the correct disassembly method. I know the collar thing is purely aesthetic, but it was quite an expensive chair and I'd love to have it properly repaired. Does anyone know how to do that? disable base? Please help! Many Thanks.
