These anode rods are designed to wear out over time and require replacement to protect the RV water heater tank from corrosion and fouling. This particular design and manufacturer produce efficient and quality bars that fit easily into these tanks. The price is extremely reasonable, the only problem is that they are shipped from China so shipping can be slower than other items on Revain. I am totally satisfied with these rods and will buy them again in due course.
