Let's start with the good thing that I bought two sets. The lights themselves are good, the brightness is adequate, and they have many options for features. I put them on last Christmas, I liked them. Store the module in a covered waterproof outdoor socket. After Christmas we will carefully put them away. Just took them out and put them back in. Waited for dark, took the kids outside to light it, ahhhhhhh they don't light up. A season later, and the control module has failed. This means that the light does not work at all. Luckily I bought two kits (one of these and one of the straight ones without the icicles) so I had a spare module. Tried a replacement module and they work fine. It is unacceptable for a module to be in operation for only one year. I would be very annoyed if I had to replace all my headlights because of this. I hope that the second module will not be canceled after this year. I would not recommend them to others in that sense. Edit - to rub salt in the wounds, I noticed that quite a bit of the lights are off as well. Additionally, as other reviews have noted, the hinges are exposed in a few places, exposing the wires. The fact that I paid $40 for something that lasted one use (3 weeks of sagging) is just plain ridiculous. If I could return them I would.
