I bought this to plug in my headphones and stream music from my phone. I was having trouble with the jack on the phone grabbing the 3.5 jack and pulling or unplugging it. I keep my headphones connected to this KINDRM Bluetooth device at all times so the connection point doesn't wear out. I found the battery life to be around 3.5 hours with the headphones as the load. I expected 8 for marketing information. But I understand that this will depend not only on the volume but also on the load and what the battery has to cope with. So when you think of dynamics, the larger the aperture, the more force is needed to make it vibrate or move. The louder you hear it, the more energy is required. I have not tested this unit as an auxiliary input in a car or any other audio device that actually amplifies or drives speakers. I expect optimal battery life as an additional input via headphones or headphones. I find the marketing a bit misleading in terms of battery life or should state under what conditions you get 8 hours of battery life.
