Like many families this year, we decided to set up a backyard theater to meet friends while maintaining social distancing. When we first started shopping for a projector and screens, we realized that screens are hard to come by these days, but Revain ends up stocking them at a much better price than other online retailers. I'm an engineer (just saying this so you know where I'm taking this review from) and this screen is made about what I would expect from a consumer product at this price point. I chose this brand because it looks reputable and is sold in stores that also sell more expensive photographic equipment and theater supplies. It's made in China like everything else these days, but backed by an American company. I especially like the aluminum construction, which helps a lot with the weight. The screen itself is nice and thick and I expect it to last a long time. The PVC material looks like it's easy to clean if it gets dirt on it, and looks like it'll stand up to the rain (but always let it dry before storing away!). There will be some creases, but they're not noticeable at all unless you get too close and look for them. To reduce wrinkles during storage I made a storage unit out of 4" PVC and some toilet flanges as shown in the pictures. Use some acetone to remove the factory seal on the PVC pipe to prevent it from accidentally coming on Your new screen will be transferred. A 145" screen can be assembled by one person, but that's a bear. Don't do it alone when it's very windy, and forget to move it yourself after assembling. Even trying to rotate it slightly will cause the far aluminum leg to rotate unless the floor is slippery. The hardest part is tying the screen to the frame. It needs to be snug, and in cool weather, if the material shrinks and isn't as stretchy, you could break your fingers tightening and snapping it shut.As mentioned, the frame is extruded aluminum with fasteners ing elements made of "iron alloy". (loops, staples, etc.). Regular aged steel is a ferroalloy and I can see a slight stain on some of these parts after just a few weeks of ownership and two days outdoors. No big deal as long as they don't start rusting. One of the plastic plugs keeps popping out (see picture). Didn't want to mention it but the same thing popped up twice (even after I put it back in the end of the tube the first time on the way home). The locking mechanisms that keep the stacked tubes straight are of good quality and easy to use. In the end, I'm happy with the purchase, and even with its flaws, it's still better than many screens on the market. For the two night shots in this test, I used a 3600 lumen projector and the photos were taken close together. The shot where the image appears blurry was captured by my camera, which determines its own settings, but the other shot was captured by tweaking the camera settings on the film screen.
