The game is ready to play, but the drill requires 3 AA batteries.

At first glance my son wasn't interested. But it's very picky and was already focused on something else when I first showed it. But once I piqued his interest, he quickly understood how these tools work. My son is mildly autistic and often gets frustrated if he doesn't think things through right away. But that didn't bother him at all. Initially I didn't have the three AA batteries needed for the drill, but it also came with a screwdriver head with various bits that work in both the handle and the drill. So no batteries are required to enjoy it right out of the box. It sucks to buy a useless toy because it needs batteries. So the screwdriver head came in handy to enjoy right away. Now I want the drill to have two speeds. What it does now along with a higher speed would be nice. But that's okay I guess. However, I have to say that this guide is much quicker than the drill and the box is great for storage. Just plain cardboard, but no striped stuff that easily tears after repeated use. Opens like a pizza box. So he has to stand if my boys don't destroy him. Who am I fooling, eventually it kind of breaks, but so far it's working fine.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Obsolete model
