Review on Coogam Wooden Tool Box: A Montessori-Inspired STEM Toy Set For Developing Fine Motor Skills In Preschoolers by Ana Walker

Not for a 2 year old!

My toddler is 2 years old. I wouldn’t say this is a good choice for 2 year old who’s just learning to stick things in and pull it back out. This tool set has screw your toddler will have to twist and screw in (which a 2 year old cannot do as of yet) she/he cannot just pull it out which will be a bit frustrating to a 2year old. Even if my son tried to stick it in the holes screw wouldn’t because I’ll have to screw it in he’ll cry because he can just pull it out it’ll have to be unscrewed out . My 2 year old was frustrated. Maybe for a 3 or 4 year old, I would assume. Not for a 2 year old.

Pros
  • Made tast
Cons
  • The construction is cheap. It’s hard enough for an adult to use, certainly not good for a toddler.
