If credit cards are in this wallet, you must ensure that the credit cards lie flat for the closure to work. If the edges of the credit cards are next to the clasp, it won't work. When two flat surfaces are joined in parallel, the clasp works well. But in real life this hasn't happened to me and I had to play around with it to align the two sides of the clasp to get it working. I didn't want to waste time fiddling with it so I sent it back. I bought a dual PacSafe wallet with RFID for about the same price. It uses a different system for storing the folded wallet that works much better for me. And it has a wrist strap that can be untied.
