My great grandparents used this set to make a statue holding hands. It was very cute and I envy those who inherited it when they left. I thought it would be nice to do one with my husband and it's a good price. This set comes in a beautiful box. Some of the contents were in 2 nested buckets, others in a box. The buckets are shallow but adequate for medium sized hands holding (although the palm may not be fully formed). I love that it includes handy materials you can use to make jewelry (great for baby footprints). The display stand was scratched as shown in the picture. Mine didn't make it into the manual either. Fortunately, each package of material comes with instructions on what to mix it with. As a foundry engineer, I know how design and body work, but I see this as a major problem for many people. I don't want to give this without guidance. It also worries me that the statue is just sitting on a stand. I think most people would assume it was fixed and if they lifted it by the base the statue would fall and break.
