Amazing sound, low battery

Let me just say that the sound quality of these headphones is excellent. how good are they I've had headphones that cost twice as much as this pair of headphones, but the Sony MDRNC33's sound quality is better. I use them daily and I always like how I can catch the air to breathe before I start playing a wind instrument. yes they are that good In terms of sound quality, these are the best headphones I've seen. Bought them over a year ago and they still work. No damage has happened to them. Everything at the highest level. And that makes me happy because most of the headphones I've had have had such a short life. I used to buy a pair of cheap $20-30 headphones every 2-3 months. You are torn at how fragile the cord is. Or the sound quality is degraded due to poor wiring and wire strength, so one side of the headphone is not working. I don't have a single complaint about the sound quality, but these headphones have a HUGE HUGE downside, and that's the battery in the middle of the cable. First, this thing is probably about 70% of the weight of the headphones without the battery, and with the battery, my next question only gets worse. The thing is heavy, yes. So since it is heavy, it will fall a lot. I work out every day so I move around a lot with these headphones on. The thing falls, what's going on? Headphones pulled out of ears. Aside from being annoying, it's also very distracting and can let me down. The first time I ran with them I almost stepped on them because they just blew out of me. I have to carry the iPod in one hand and hold the battery in the other. A simple solution for Sony would be to place the battery closer to one end of the cable, particularly very close to the audio jack. But they're right in the middle and it's a HUGE pain for me. If you could bypass that awful design, these would be the best headphones you've ever seen at this price point.
