They work but there is room for improvement

I can certainly tell the difference between on and off but there is still more background noise than I expected, especially trains and planes there are nor the high and low motor frequencies at which these types of devices must excel. Moderately comfortable. I am currently using a medium size but may switch to a small size soon. The clip for turning the noise cancellation on and off is a bit fiddly if you have nowhere to place it. The bottom line is that I think the retail price is $95 and I'd…

Quality Noise Canceling Headphones

These noise canceling headphones perform as advertised. In fact, sometimes I can't hear people talking to me (probably because of the headphones). The noise reduction from fans and motors is excellent. Sonically it's good but I thought the headphones with a 2 year old Sony Walkman noise canceling MP3 player had tighter bass and a more open top. My only real complaint is that the cord is a bit short for sitting at a desk with headphones plugged into the PC. A little difficult to get up and…

Sony MDRNC-33 EarBuds

Item arrived but Revain made the mistake of only sending one when I actually ordered two. A call to Revain and the problem was solved - the missing item was sent overnight by express courier. The headphones offer very good sound reproduction, and the noise-cancelling feature is only really appreciated when you use them in a noisy environment, such as in a car. B. in an airplane. I drive to work regularly and for me it's a "must have" - on the plane it really works like a charm! Instead of…

Problems with the cable and sound quality.

This is the strangest product I have ever bought from Sony; they are usually very ergonomic. There is a U-shaped cable connecting the left earbud to the right. Then comes the cable that connects the right earbud to the battery/control box. Because of this, the cables get tangled very easily. Also, the length of the cable between the headphones and the battery/controller is very long, causing it to hang too low, making it difficult to handle. Then the cable between the battery/control box and…

They work well on flights

I've been looking for a pair of noise canceling in ear headphones and they really work. They're not perfect - ambient noise is reduced by 90% - but they're good. I first tried them at a train station in front of a gardener with a lawnmower and was very impressed when the sound of the mower disappeared. I was equally impressed with the international flight. I'm sure the Bose are better, but they're a lot easier to pocket and great value at under $60. Some other things I really like about these…

Great sound, poor noise cancellation

I bought these to replace my MDRNC22 so my review is something of a comparison of these headphones to these but I will also try to be objective. Being a Sony, these headphones are well built and don't seem to break easily. I could even lay with them in my ears without feeling uncomfortable or feeling like they would break or get stuck in my ear canal. The sound quality is also impressive - to be honest, I like the sound better than the sound I got from Bose noise-cancelling in-ear headphones…

Amazing sound, low battery

Let me just say that the sound quality of these headphones is excellent. how good are they I've had headphones that cost twice as much as this pair of headphones, but the Sony MDRNC33's sound quality is better. I use them daily and I always like how I can catch the air to breathe before I start playing a wind instrument. yes they are that good In terms of sound quality, these are the best headphones I've seen. Bought them over a year ago and they still work. No damage has happened to them…

Comparison Sony MDR-NC33 vs Audio Technica ATH-ANC3

This review compares Sony MDR-NC33 vs Audio Technica ATH-ANC3. Audio Technica has the best noise reduction. According to the published specifications, it is 20 dB, while the specifications published by Sony. is 10 dB, and the difference is clearly visible. The Sony does reduce noise, although this 'reduces' much more than it 'almost eliminates'. Both do a good job of reducing low-frequency rumble while ATs do, and they also reduce high-frequency noise. Those. With the heater fan on at maximum…
