Review on 🎧 Sony MDRNC33 Noise Canceling Earbuds (Black) (Not Produced Anymore) by Kristin Morris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They work well on flights

I've been looking for a pair of noise canceling in ear headphones and they really work. They're not perfect - ambient noise is reduced by 90% - but they're good. I first tried them at a train station in front of a gardener with a lawnmower and was very impressed when the sound of the mower disappeared. I was equally impressed with the international flight. I'm sure the Bose are better, but they're a lot easier to pocket and great value at under $60. Some other things I really like about these headphones: Choose the size that fits best) - The small hole for the earbuds doesn't catch earwax as easily - They work even when the noise-cancelling is turned off - The battery life is with one AAA battery (I use rechargeable ones) Some cons: - The noise-cancellation takes the shine out of the upper frequencies of the sound - The cable is a little longer than I would like (but Sony included a decent wrap-around cable) - They reduce noise and Hum noise better than random high frequency tones. Despite the flaws, I give these Sony headphones a solid 4 out of 5. I'm glad I bought them.
