They work but there is room for improvement

I can certainly tell the difference between on and off but there is still more background noise than I expected, especially trains and planes there are nor the high and low motor frequencies at which these types of devices must excel. Moderately comfortable. I am currently using a medium size but may switch to a small size soon. The clip for turning the noise cancellation on and off is a bit fiddly if you have nowhere to place it. The bottom line is that I think the retail price is $95 and I'd be upset if I paid that. 20-40 OK.
