Review on Gellen Polish Natural Colors Pastel by Amanda Stevenson

I would really give more than 4.75 stars. During the COVID extravaganza I decided to get rid of my fake nails (I've always used tip nails) and decided to hit the UV light I bought for a pedicure a while back. The colors I had were a little off so I decided to look for new ones. After a lot of research I settled on this set and another, more pastel colored, more muted set from the same manufacturer. Most of all, I wished I didn't have colors I would never use. The color selection is great. There aren't any of the crazy colors mentioned above that you wouldn't use, like yellow, which makes people want to diagnose you with jaundice. I used a completely different brand of primer, base coat and top coat and it all worked fine. I initially found it to be a bit thick in some places on my nail but a good shake before use and a thinner application fixed that. Since this is an option, when I review the product I will list the ease of removal, which is funny (haha funny not weird) considering the goal is for it not to come loose! It was difficult to remove and eventually required several soaks in acetone, a bit of crushing and buffing to remove everything. But overall it's great quality and worth buying. I definitely recommend buying it.
