It's really, really big. I did not appreciate the size when ordering. I thought it would be big, and you're probably picking up on the idea that it's big. It was bigger than I expected, and it's probably bigger than you are imagining. I mean, my car won't fit in it. But when fully packed, it definitely takes up most of my midsize sedan truck space. The size means it's not really a practical bag for regular trips. But for longer trips, or to move a child into a dorm room at college - this is your bag. It's got a solid, if unwieldly strap to go over your shoulder - wish it were cushioned, because when fully packed, it gets pretty heavy. But because it's so big, there's no really smooth way to carry it. It hangs and bangs all around. And there's not much structure in the bottom, which means there's no rigidity to the bag beyond what you put in it. But I do use it and like that I now own a really big bag. Frankly, if you need to pack more than this bag holds, it probably means you've been kicked out of your house, and you've got bigger issues than comfort when carrying this bag. You'll at least know you can move a bunch of stuff, even if it's uncomfortable to do so, which, when you're being kicked out, I got to think the quantity of possessions you're able to take with you is more important than the comfort level you have in moving them. So I'm happy with my purchase, and you will be too, if you are looking for maximum capacity.
