Review on Wireless In-Ear Earbud - Pink Ink'd+ by Skullcandy by Eric Rose

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Falls apart is good for headphones

I've had three Skullcandy Ink'd's over the last few years (original first, now plus - only replace after loss), this is the first since the design was updated ("Plus" ). The sound and battery appear to be the same as the previous version, although I'm sure there may be some minor upgrades that I'm not aware of. The physical design has changed the most. The volume/power buttons used to be plastic, now they're rubber. As others have noted, the rubber is very easy to disassemble - to the point where my power switch gets twisted and I have to gently lift the rubber to align the plastic clip to turn it on or off. In addition, the small rubber cover of the USB Micro-B port cannot be closed properly and only gets in the way when charging the earbuds with something other than a very long USB Micro-B plug made of metal. If you can find it, go with the old version - save yourself a lot of headaches.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • May damage
