Review on πŸ”΅ Subzero Blue Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM: Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker by Ron Chang

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Amazing sound. Excellent price. Fantastic portability.

Wow. I am so glad I made this purchase. Tried this little guy out on a hike last weekend and he blew us all away. It's small, light weight and in the bright blue color I chose, it's very easy to find when rummaging through your tent. The sound from this thing is really impressive. Really clear sound and nice bass for something so small. Also, it can get VERY noisy. We have a Google Home and a Google Home mini at home, and the UE Wonderboom sounds a lot better than the mini. Portability is also not an issue. I love that it has a loop at the top to attach it to a backpack. The only minus of the miracle boom is the battery charge indicator. When I received it, I looked through the manual and it said that you have to press and hold the volume up + down button on the device to hear a "tone" indicating the battery level. What is high, middle and low tone. Well, I had no idea what sound I heard when I pushed the buttons. I googled like crazy to hear/understand what sound the device is making. I charged it overnight and noticed what the difference was: the battery's "high" sound has three small bells with a higher pitch. "Medium" is slightly lower in pitch, with two bells. And "Low" has the lowest pitch and has only one chime.

Pros
  • Portable speakers and docking stations
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine
