I started taking my personal laptop to work, but I only had a thin case because I rarely took it out of the house. I wanted something that didn't take up a lot of space but 1. offered more drop protection, 2. had some sort of handle, and 3. allowed to carry a mouse and charger (my main compartment only had one large compartment). Given the low price, I was pleasantly surprised. The gray material is very beautiful, durable and water-repellent. It has a handle that pulls back to the side, but it's easy to use when I'm holding something else and can't just grab the whole case. The interior is soft and plush, with THICK padding all around - peace of mind when dropped. Finally, the external zip pocket is perfect for storing my charger and mouse and doesn't make the bag bulky or lumpy. There's plenty of room for something else; This comes in handy when I want to take it somewhere where I don't want to carry my bag/briefcase and where I want to put my phone, wallet, keys, etc. I am very happy with this purchase and it is exactly what I wanted.
