On the thinner side, which is perfect for not adding too much weight given how long this is. I’m very happy with this leash that I got for my puppy. Given it’s thickness, I would definitely not let her chew on it. But it’s for recall and letting her explore a bit further on our walks, so it serves those purposes. Came as advertised, and sharp enough for anyone but an absolute expert to get started and do some decent work. This is a must because beginners need to get a feel for how a sharp chisel will cut before having to sharpen a chisel. The metal band at the top of one of the handles was loose, and I deducted a star for this. These are very soft and appear to be very good quality for the price. I'm kind of on the edge between a size large and extra large. Since I didn't want them to be too small I ordered the extra large. They do fit, but loosely. I've decided to keep them as my weight can vary but I plan to buy a couple more pairs of these in size large.
