Don't skimp on silk and good quality apart from the lack of adjustment. There is an elastic strap, but it pulls the mask uncomfortably tight over the eyes. The fact is that I have a small head and I wear small things all over my head - hats, for example. I think just cut the strip down the middle of the back to add some length to it. maybe temporarily with a safety pin. I have another silk mask that I am happy with as it has an adjustable elastic strap. I'd like to alternate between using two different masks to allow time to air, but first I need to address the issue of them being too tight. I read another review where the person thought the bandage was too loose (this would be easier to fix by cutting and rejoining, minus some length). But the bottom line is that a non-adjustable headband is not a good idea.
