Of the various eye masks I've tried from Revain, the Colorado Co and Venera offer the smoothest silk in my opinion. Zimasilk and Venera were more comfortable for me because their elastic headbands fit me, while Colorado Co's headband was much, much tighter. I ended up choosing Venera because this Zimasilk eye mask protrudes further past the corners of my eyes making it more likely to move or interfere when I sleep on my side. But it was a close race!

Although this sleep mask blocks light and is soft on my skin, I don't like how it warms my face. I had to remember that silk is second only to wool when it comes to keeping you warm. I should have bought a cotton mask as it has the least warming properties of all fabrics. While the nose notch would be adequate, it would be better if it was a bit longer, maybe 5 or 6mm longer. The silk is so soft and good quality. I believe it is also filled with silk making a really nice and comfy pillow. I just wish the strap was a little smaller, but I'd rather have it a little bigger than too small because then it wouldn't be wearable. I got rid of my other eye mask for this one. I don't know how you would make the strap adjustable without a hard piece of plastic, so I'd rather have a one size strap than the plastic on the back to make it adjustable.
