The leggings are not thick at all, they’re a pretty thin material BUT they are not see through. The image on the tights themselves are pretty pixelated which came to be a bummer. Make sure that you use the "fits" columns of the size guide in order to make sure that you get the right size. I purchased these along with 2x3 baggies for the purpose of mailing out samples of a product I sell. The first thing I noticed the inside is smaller and doesn't hold but 4 of my samples in the 2x3 baggies. And that's squeezing the samples into the PKG. But, that's on me. When I went to seal the envelope, there was little adhesive to keep it closed. And, in addition, the seal didn't go from end to end. I needed a good set of base layer wear for my open shipping crossdock which is colder than the arctic in the winter. These are soft and snug without being restrictive, and they breathe.
