Tactical Learning That's Relaxing

My soon to be kindergartener has some difficulty writing letters. He can identify them, but often he has trouble remembering which way each letter faces (such as the more difficult ones like B and G). I love how this product not only provides the directions in which you draw each letter, it also uses a pen-shaped writing device so that it assists in muscle memory. As he writes out each letter, a satisfying "click" is made with each metal ball finding its slot to sit in. Then, when he's all done, he can press the balls back with a swipe of his hand. This motion is very calming, an added bonus to the stress of learning new things (especially through repetition). I am always on the lookout for new and fun ways for my children to learn and this is a helpful toy in achieving that.I would recommend this for parents with children ages 3 - 5. It holds your child's attention while providing a quiet, relaxing and educational activity for them.

Pros
  • From beginning to end, kids can learn the entire alphabet in one cool and interactive game
Cons
  • May not appeal to all children's learning styles
