I ordered this skirt to wear to our sons wedding and it is a beautiful skirt! Very stretchy and so comfortable. For reference, I'm 49 years old, 5'4" and 188 lbs. and I ordered XXL. I didn't want it to be very tight, I mean I was the 49 year old mother of the groom, but I could wear a plus size.If you want the pencil skirt to look like a real pencil skirt then be sure to go down a size.I used the included belt at the last notch to cinched the waist but it still had the tendency to twist.the montages meant to be on the hips ended up front and back.I had to constantly fiddle with it to make sure it was right in front of the photos or my dance with my son.The belt is cute , but it's a thin cheap faux patent leather buckle and a simple wide black elastic.If you're wearing a tucked-in blouse and belt, buy a belt instead.Although it was too big for me, the shape and contour of the skirt allowed me to still wear, and overall it really defined my waist and accentuated my hips. It has a beautiful dark gray color and the ruffled bottom gives it a sophisticated look. I really liked this skirt and felt comfortable in it. I don't think you will regret your purchase.
