The case fits perfectly, the handle is make of super soft foam, but the rest is thicker foam. Upon rereading the description, it does say foam and not hard plastic. I've had it on my 2yo's tablet for a couple weeks now and so far no damage to the actual tablet. He has dropped it face down on the kitchen floor while I was holding him, so I guess the case is doing its job. I only let him use it if I'm watching him because (years of tablet experience has taught me) [case or not] not much is gonna protect the screen itself from a direct hit or if he steps on it screen side up.
