I kept this in my room for years and bought another one for the bathroom. Due to the faint smell, it is hardly noticeable. It's not the scent itself, because if you bring it close to your nose you can smell it. And that's its problem, it's barely audible because it emits almost no odor and is very weak. You have to be near him to smell him. I don't smell any different in my room, but in a small bathroom I smell it a bit and turn it on the highest setting. It does last a while, but that's only because it barely dispels the smell. A smaller brand of scent that I put downstairs in the bathroom gives off a lot of scent and I can smell the whole room and even smell just walking by on a medium setting. All in all, I'm a bit disappointed in them. The scent is not cheap, I almost can't smell it. You forgot about a large room, even in a small room it will hardly be noticeable.
