3M Velcro users beware

It's hard to find a good picture frame that doesn't cost a lot of money. It's not bad. We use 3M velcro to hang pictures as we don't want to put holes in our walls. I found that it wouldn't work if the strips seemed to want to pull away from the frame when tightened. I used 4 velcro straps per frame and within 5 hours the frame fell off and broke. I'm sure they're great for other ways to hang pictures, but if you're using 3M Velcro specifically, don't use these frames. Something has been done to the frame to prevent the glue from sticking. In addition, the depth at which the image is stored is very shallow. We had several mated pictures but had to remove the entire mat as it didn't fit in the frame.
