Ok, so we are old school and we still have tons of dvd movies! This projector really appealed to me because of this feature having a dvd player. We were going to give it to one of our kids, but we are keeping it. We watched old movies on the wall all night. The audio is good on this unit all by itself, but you can add your sound system into it as well. All the additional items like these functions: wifi, Bluetooth, USB connection, it can miracast, iphone , ipad or ipod ready, HDMI as well as android ready and more inputs! This unit does a lot. You can mount it to your ceiling or just use it on a stand. It comes with lots of cable hook ups, and a nice case to put everything in. I highly recommend this projector and DVD Player. Remember, if all your wifi connections go out, or your cable goes out, you can still be entertained with this unit because of the DVD player. I can't say enough good things about this machine. I love it! You will too.
