Excellent shaving set. I was a little apprehensive as this was my first razor purchase alongside the Gillette Mach 4 in about 20 years. Received my kit today, blade installation was easier than I thought, razor set to level 2, lathered up and within 90 seconds I had the smoothest shave I've had in I don't know when. I had a tiny cut right at the neckline where my age had formed a crease. Not great, but next time it will be a little slower. I have to say that overall I am very happy with this purchase. I really can't believe how easy the razor was and how close the shave was. I'd love to say I'll be a customer for life, but judging by the look and feel of the Merkur I don't think I'll ever need to buy another razor. It definitely corresponds to German quality.
