Review on Effaclar Deep Cleansing Foaming Cream Cleanser by La Roche-Posay: Daily Face Wash for Oily Skin to Reduce Pore Appearance by Lori Kramer

Simply the best skin care product

Effaclar is the best cleanser I have ever used. Dermatologists prescribed me a medicinal version 12-13 years ago to combat my high school complexion and I was really surprised at how well it clears your skin. Now I am even more pleased that after all these years La Roche-Posay products are now available without a prescription including this deep cleanser and it is still as good as I remember. This concentrated product requires very little to cover the entire face. It quickly foams up in volume when massaged and penetrates my skin with ease like a bearded dude. It rinses off just as quickly and leaves the skin feeling uniquely clean. You should experience this for yourself, but I jokingly mentioned that the feeling on my face is like walking across the gym floor in new basketball shoes. The cleanliness is like nothing I've had with any other face wash. My only minor complaint is the smell. I think they were looking for something soft that wouldn't stick to the skin, which is good. It's not as aromatic as Neutrogena's or Clean & Clear's products, but I find it a bit odd when applied. Maybe it's just me. You also have to be very careful not to get it in your eyes. You can think of an analogy to my gender at the gym, only after a while your eyelid and eyeball disappear. Not funny. But overall a fantastic product! This could be the last cleaner you'll ever need.
