These magnetic coat hooks are strong without being heavy, well made and they were super easy to assemble by just screwing the two pieces together. The magnets are covered with a rubber coating so they will not scratch the surface they are attached to and they look real nice blending in with my black kitchen appliances. These hooks are good looking and do magnetize to metal doors but they are not as strong as I expected. For example I use this to hang my winter coat up and if I place it straight down on the hook it’s fine. But if I tug slightly out to the right or left (like if I was reaching into the hanging coat’s pocket) the hook would fall. I feel that these are a bit overpriced for what they are.

If you need a strong magnetic hook that won't rust, this is the one you want. It's completely coated in rubber and I had it in the shower for a bit to keep the shower curtain closed, but the metal piece that I was sticking it to fell off the wall. I have another set of similar hooks from this same brand, they just have a different style. I can vouch for them (both) being very strong, as advertised. I like the low profile and modern style of these. I now have a small collection of these on the side of my fridge to hang all sorts of stuff, probably even some pans and other heavy kitchen items. They would definitely work for coats and bags too though if you have a metal surface you want to hang those things from.

These hooks look nice, and the magnets are fairly strong. Maybe not as strong as they could be (they're not as strong as the magnetic shelves I have), but they seem to be working well enough for my application, which as shown in the photo is hanging a folding step ladder on the side of my refrigerator. Great hooks. I am using them on my garage door, which is metal. Really sturdy. The magnet is strong, but the hook is really light weight. I'm not sure I'd put anything heavy on the hook, but it would be good for holding a coat or apron or something like that.Recommended if what you have to hang isn't very very heavy.

This coat hook comes in two pieces. The magnet with a bolt and the hook with threads on one end of the tee. The bolt isn't threaded all the way to the base and the threads on the tee are very slim. When you screw the tee onto the magnet base it hits bottom and just wobbles around. If you want the tee to tighten securely you'll need to add a washer so it will cinch down.
