Does not fit in standard rack

I bought this to fit in my economy rack for my economy guitar amp effects circuit. I was surprised to find rubber feet bolted to the bottom of the rack hardware. After removing the interfering tabs and installing it in the rack above, I was dismayed to find that the slots didn't line up with the threaded holes in the rack. Not even close. FWIW, I have an actual Furman in my "upscale" rack and can't recall such a fiasco. Apparently geniuses like Pyle (deliberate typo) have never heard of the EIA-310 and think they can just carve fun slots anywhere. If you're the type of guy who uses rusty slotted screws to pound that outlet along with some random scraps of plywood you found in the yard, this is the device for you. On the other hand, if you are considering INSTALLING this piece of RACK HARDWARE in a 19" EIA RACK, either look elsewhere or dust off Uncle Dremel and say goodbye to your treat. There will be swearing. Otherwise I like it. simply good.
