You are very free. My son is skinny and even though they are waist fitted (size L and he has a 27 inch waist) he almost looks like he is wearing a flowy skirt, they are so loose and fluffy. He doesn't complain and loves the weight and feel of them but I don't think they look as sharp as they could. They're probably great for stronger kids. In any case, they are bright and colorful and good for summer. They're basically the same style that a lot of his friends wear in high school, so I think he'll be lucky enough to wear them.
