Even though this shoe didn't fit me I gave it four stars because the quality of the shoe was excellent, it's very well made with soft leather, fits arch below and a good sole for turning, as well as a nice inner lining. However, I wear outdoor shoe size 7 to 7.5 and ordered them in size 8. Many reviewers said they run small and the recommended size for the outdoor shoe is 1/2 size larger. I got them in the mail and tried them on and they were too long in the toes, although they were a good fit for my wide feet (I have high arches and wide feet in the metatarsal bones that taper/taper sharply towards the heel ). ). There was so much extra material in the sock that the soles weren't aligned properly and if I tried to dance in them I would trip everywhere. I would trade them in for a size 7 but the other issue was that the heel came too high on the arch of the foot for comfort. He drilled into my leg from behind. So I suspect that even with the right size there will be an issue, as is the case with many types of shoes for me. So I reluctantly sent them back (luckily it was easy as I've never returned anything in the mail before). But I'm not giving up and have ordered the Bloch Pulse Style jazz shoe in a smaller but wider version. The heel looks different on this shoe and I hope it fits better. Why oh why don't I have a dance shop in the woods with multiple ballet and dance companies! Pooh. Such a guessing game with the shoe size.
