Riding Safely With The Troxel Spirit Equestrian Helmet Review

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter. This helmet fit perfect and the design was exactly as pictured. It is so cute and she received many compliments at her horse riding lesson. The padding inside is exactly what she needed and adjusting the helmet was very easy with the adjustment dial. Thank you for a great product!

I've been riding for about six months now and absolutely love it. At the end of February I went to a lesson and we were doing some small jumps and on the last in a set of three I just couldn't get it together and fell off the horse. I landed head first with the right side of my head making impact and then the rest of my body followed. The helmet is still intact with some light scratches. The worst of my injuries was a sprained left ankle that I think got twisted in the stirrup as I fell.

These helmets were everything I imagined and more. I was extremely hesitant to buy because there weren’t many reviews but the quality is fantastic. I bought a Small and a Medium. I should have bought two small helmets. My girls are 4 & 7. I did take them to my vinyl lady and have their names put on the back in a coordinating color. I cannot say enough about these! 💗💜 love them!

I bought two of these helmets for my twin 10 year old daughters. I purchased the small and the medium as my twins are very different in size :)They fit each one perfectly, are very comfortable and lightweight enough to wear on long trail rides.They are also very easy to adjust as the girls grow.I highly recommend these helmets!

My 7 year old says her helmet is "super comfortable." I was recommended a much more expensive brand, but street doing lots of research, the Spirit seemed to be at the top of multiple lists in safety, so it's a great deal. The print seems to be pretty durable as well.

I returned the first helmet, now the second one has less but still a couple of places with scratches on the shiny surface. too lazy to return the second one, but I am going to leave a 3 star review.

I'm new to equestrian helmets but this one seems really good. I like the matte finish and the ability to adjust the size in the back as well as the cushions on the side. Hope I never have to test the durability!.😬

My daughter is 10 I got this in an adult MD fits perfect. This is the same brand used where she takes horse back riding lessons.

Bought this for our 10 year old granddaughter. She loved it! But the 2nd time she wore it. For some reason it was loose (she had not adjusted it since the first time she wore it.) She took it off to look at her. A piece was loose on the strap. It fell off in her hand. Her instructor said the helmet was dangerous. I'd give zero stars if I could.I contacted the seller. I order this for my 3 year old niece. She absolutely loved it. It fits perfectly and has knob on the back that can help make it smaller or larger if needed. I thought it was going to come in after her birthday, BUT was very excited when it came in 3 days early!

The reviews say it fits their 5-year-olds; however, it is too big for my daughter but we have been making it work. It will fit if she has her hair up in a ponytail but not when it is down. Great product overall- just a little big.

Measured by daugther's head and it showed that a size small would fit her, but when the size small arrived it was actually too big. A size XS fit her perfectly though.

My daughter wears this for both riding horseback and on her scooter. It fits her head well, she says it's comfortable and I like that it is full coverage.

I love this helmet. It’s super comfortable and by the end of my ride I forget it’s on my head. It has gotten scratched up a little but that’s to be expected. I use this everyday to ride and have been loving it.

The picture shows a purplish pink helmet… it is bubblegum pink. Fits great, wonderful helmet; but not the color shown… way too pink.

I bought this as I like the simple design. Now my daughter is jealous of the soft matte finish and wants a similar one for herself. It fit very well and comfortably. Now I just need to get a Brimmer to add some shade and style for when I am driving my pony cart!

This helmet is comfy and extremely well fitting because it’s adjustable. It also protected my head wonderfully well when I stupidly fell off my horse; my body was bruised but this helmet made sure my head came through without so much as bump. Fantastic.
