I bought this for my 5 year old daughter and continue to use it with my 3 year old son. I love how easy it is to pick them up and get them onto a lift and how much control I have over how fast they go. I find that I can encourage them to make a turn though they still have to initiate it themselves. I saw something like this last year and wanted to try this out since I have 4 kids and 3 still in the learning stage.In short order this allowed me to get my 7 year old to the point of conquering the bunny hill without assistance and my 5 & 3 year old enjoying the bunny hill with little help. Update 2022:Went to use this for the second time ever and the chest strap broke right off. Tried to put it back on with pliers and other tools without luck. I guess it may still work with just the waist strap but will likely slide off my sons shoulders. Very adjustable. Fits my toddler perfectly. The vest has a top handle to hold directly, as well as multiple attach points for the leash, which are very useful as the toddler progresses. Initially I used the top handle and held him close as we skied down the bunny hill together. The warmer PA ski season in December made us wait a little to try out this new harness on our 4 year old. We used it this weekend to teach her some skiing. It was easy to figure out, comfortable for our daughter, and extremely helpful in our efforts to teach her. We didn't need to worrying that she would zoom down the hill out of control and when she fell, we used the top handle on the back of the vest to help her up. It was great!

We used the harness for our 2 year old this year. It was wonderful! It really gave my husband what he needed to let our son go in his own. Our son loved it as well! He called it his backpack and was excited to put it on each day! Haha. I highly recommend. We plan on using it next year too.

This harness has a great hold and perfect position for small kids learning to ski. We used this on our 2.5 and 4 yr old and they loved it as much as we did.

The harness worked great. My 2 year old seemed to be comfortable, and the handle made it a lot easier to pick him up. I'm still getting used to using the straps. It's difficult to judge the distance back that I should be from him, and clipping and unclipping the straps is difficult - especially with gloves.

We took our 4 year old skiing for the first time and this harness worked great! He was skiing down all the slopes with no problem with the help of the harness. It has a convenient spot to hold straps when not in use, a lot of adjustments for sizing, and was easy to put on.

Was referred to a local shop to buy this harness last year, 90$ was wayy above our budget however, I forgot the name of the brand but decided to look on Best Buy for this season, well what do ya know, Best Buy to the rescue. this harness really works well. easy to use and adjustable to different sizes. you can use a single center line or it has two lines that attach on each side in the rear to help with turn training. really well thought out harness that is simple to use yet offers options.

In the past with my older kids I had the basic ski harness straps. They'd get tangled and ended up being a mess and hassle to use. This past weekend I took my 2 year old skiing with this new harness and was surprise how well it was built. I really like the elastic part that connect to the vest. It helped with controlling their speed but without jerking the child back. The loops around the waist to help control the direction your child skis worked great! After unpacking it, we checked the item and one of the plastic attachment point broke after the first time of using it. Rather dangerous when you are on the mountain with your kid.

I would definitely recommend one of these harnesses and splurge for the edgy wedgy, well worth it. I was nervous to take our four-year-old skiing but with the right tools it made it a lot easier, I was surprised we were actually able to do green runs on the first day.
