Very adjustable. Fits my toddler perfectly. The vest has a top handle to hold directly, as well as multiple attach points for the leash, which are very useful as the toddler progresses. Initially I used the top handle and held him close as we skied down the bunny hill together. Once he had enough balance, I let him ski ahead of me with just a single leash to keep improving his balance and give him confidence to ski across bumpy terrain. Next session, I used both leashes to give him the feeling and encourage him to make a turn. The leashes also have some stretch to them so that it would not be an abrupt jerk / stop for the toddler.
