I got this for my daughter, and it’s super cute! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it’s a little smaller than expected. I measured my daughter’s head before ordering. It’s a little snug, so we will end up moving up a size sooner than we should.

Bought these for my kids to wear while riding horses. These are great quality, adjustable size, light weight, and a must for safety. Better safe than sorry.

I love this helmet. I didn't grow up wearing one so to me it's uncomfortable to wear one, but I can't even tell I have this helmet one. It's very comfortable to wear. I just wish there was alittle more padding in the helmet but you don't notice. And it is very comfortable to wear and breatheable. I do recommend this helmet.

I have worn this model of helmet for years, however recently I have recommended to 5 of my students and 4 of them have had issues with the dial systems that don’t stay in place once adjusted. This is a real problem and inhibits their riding and poses a safety hazard.

I debated for a LONG time whether or not to order a new helmet - didn’t really need one, but had never been happy with the way my current Ovation helmet fit, and I had been wearing it since 2012. It was just so uncomfortable. Never really fit my head right. After reading lots of reviews, I decided on the Troxel Spirit. Turned out to be a really GREAT decision, because this helmet is awesome! It's compact enough in appearance for me to feel comfortable using it is a bike helmet too, yet strong enough to protect my head in a recent fall I had. A horse spooked and bucked me off and I hit my head causing a mild concussion. The recovery time from the fall was very short which I attribute to the safety measures in the helmet design. I bought two, one of this and the other with a turning disk adjustment at the back. Same size. That one is stable, this one is keep wobbling no matter how tight I did.

My daughter uses this every week for horseback. Neither the chin straps nor the dial adjuster to keep the helmet tight, stay where you put them and the helmet almost always ends up loose. The instructors at the barn told us they are recommending kids not buy these.

I really like the dial for adjustment and the inner lining that can be removed and washed. Overall, I was able to adjust the helmet to fit perfectly. I was almost at the maximum measurements for the small, so I went up a size and am glad I did.

We purchased this helmet in January of 2022 for my daughter's lessons. She fortunately hasn't had any falls and has worn it once to twice a week since then. When going to her lesson today, we discovered the adjustable part in the back of the helmet has come out and will not reinsert.
